Prequalification of Bidders
As a condition of bidding for this Project, and in accordance with California Public Contract Code section 20111.5,
prospective bidders are required to submit to the District a completed set of prequalification documents on forms provided by the
District. These documents will be the basis for determining which bidders are qualified to bid on this Project.
Bids will not be accepted if a Contractor has not been fully prequalified where prequalification is required. Prequalification
documents are available from PQBids at https://pqbids.com/pomona-unified-school-district/ and then click on “Click here to sign-up
online as an AB 2031 contractor”. Prequalification documents must be submitted and fully approved by the PQBids by the
following dates and times for each bid:
Bid No. 09(24-25)MO – 8:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 3, 2025
There will be a Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference on Monday, March 24, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. sharp in the Capital Facilities
Conference Room at the District Education Center, 800 S. Garey Avenue Pomona, CA. Bidder must sign in at the Front Desk of
the Education Center (same street address).
The second Mandatory portion of the pre-bid conference will involve site visits at multiple locations where the Project
Manager, Arash Mir, and his team will go over the technical specifications of the bid packet and allow contractors to walk the
site. The site visits have been scheduled for Tuesday, March 25, 2025 starting at 7:00 AM at Alcott Elementary School. Project
Manager will provide the site visit schedule upon arrival. Contractors are required to check in with Project Manager at all
sites.
Both portions of the Pre-Bid Conference are Mandatory, bidders intending to bid as General Contractors on this project must attend.
